is an actor and known best for his role as Sergeant Davis Quinton on 6 seasons of CTV’s Corner Gas. Lorne’s film and TV credits include: North of 60, Moccasin Flats: Redemption, Insomnia (with Al Pacino), Icebound (with Susan Sarandon), Tecumseh, the voice of Jacob on the Gemini Award winning animated series Wapos Bay, In the Blue Ground: A Northof 60 Mystery, Crazy Horse, Renegadepress.com, Elijah, Blackfly, Lonesome Dove, Jake and the Kid and Snowmageddon. His stage presence has included 2012 productions of Shakespeare’s King Lear (as the Duke of Albany) on the main stage of the National Art Centre in Ottawa, and in Michel Tremblay’s For the Pleasure of Seeing Her Again. He has directed numerous theatre productions including Tomson Highways’ Ernestine Shushwap Gets Her Trout, and Three Little Birds by Kenneth T. Williams. Lorne has also won two Gemini Awards, for Wapos Bay and Corner Gas, as well as numerous nominations for his body of acting work. He is also the recipient of an honourary PhD from Thompson Rivers University.
