has spent a lifetime as an actor, director and writer in Canadian theatre. He is the recipient of the Rita Davies Award from the Toronto Arts Council for a lifetime of contributions to the arts, and was awarded the Silver Ticket Award for lifetime achievement by the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts. He has appeared in many films and television shows including a starring role in the iconic CBC film War Brides. Most recently he appeared in a guest role in George Walker’s CBC series Living In The Car. He has played “too many roles to count,” across the stages of Canadian theatres from coast to coast, including roles at Theatre Passe Muraille, Tarragon Theatre, Factory Theatre, The National Arts Centre and The Canadian Stage. Most recently he toured in Goodness with Volcano Theatre to Rwanda and then subsequently across Canada playing the role of a mass murderer.
