JD NICHOLSEN (Jerry)

JD (Jack) has spent the last 25 years as a professional actor in Canada. He is also an accomplished musician. His band, The Leslie Spit Treeo, won a Juno Award for most promising band in 1991. His background in theatre has given him the opportunity to employ both of his creative loves in a number of critically acclaimed musical roles including Stompin’ Tom Conners in The Ballad of Stompin’ Tom (Drayton Entertainment, Charlottetown Festival) and Johnny in Dear Johnny Dear (Blyth Festival). He has made appearances in a number of television shows including Haven, XIII, Flashpoint, Falling Skies, Murdoch Mysteries, Little Men, Shakespeareville and Blue Murder. His notable film credits include 16 Blocks, Blizzard, Roughing it, Time of the Wolf, and Perfectly Normal. Jack was also the Art Director and Set Decorator for The Shape of Rex.
